It’s not every day that an architect has a chance to design a prominent building in her downtown, just steps away from her own home to boot. Conceived as a vibrant addition to the beautiful Stowe Street street scape, Waterbury's newest downtown building strives to blend traditional architectural features with a fresh design aesthetic while implementing modern, energy efficient construction. The project adds new retail and business space to the community. Designed to engage pedestrians with pocket-park space and exterior displays of art. I was honored to be its architect.
