Sometimes a small change can make a big difference. That was the case with this cape style house.  The clients were hoping to give a face lift to their home by replacing the picture window and  the ill-proportioned front portico.  They were hoping to achieve more of a "cottage" look with the re-design. The double hung windows paired with the refined detailing of the new porch offered the charm they were striving for.
