Jennifer Lane, AIA is a registered architect in Vermont with over 25 years of experience in the profession. Her education at Wentworth Institute of Technology synthesized the concepts of experiential design with the nuts and bolts of building construction and continues to impact her work today. She has been involved in a wide variety of projects working at firms in Connecticut, Massachusetts and her home state of Vermont, including educational, municipal, commercial, medical, residential and even a chicken coop or two. Her down-to-earth personality helps foster positive communication not only with her clients, but with contractors alike. A focus on sustainable, high performing and energy efficient design, sensitivity to site, the experience of the user within the space and keeping a project within budget are part of all projects undertaken. Jennifer is a member of the American Institute of Architects and the VT Green Building Network. When not designing for her clients or thinking up solutions for her own old home, she enjoys hiking, camping, back-country skiing, and spending time with her family; both the two and four legged ones.
