Many times, when a homeowner realizes their house isn't meeting their needs functionally, the question then becomes whether to renovate or buy/build new. My clients love their village location and realized the odds of finding an equally well situated home or building lot were slim to none. And so, the plans to renovate began. The entire house was re-worked, including taking off the roof to change the direction of the framing, in order to meet their goals for the spaces inside.
